Furtherset, 18 years old, published his first EP at the age of 16, and right from the start he has always depicted his personal vision of music: dirty, rough and dark. This EP is the preview of the upcoming album that will be released by our label. A complex work, that in Furthersetsaying has less in common with in his previous productions, and more with his live performances - Non linear and electro beat drums are placed side by side to voice-created instruments (made unrecognizable by effects) and synths, that recreate bass and drones to shape post heavy and industrial atmospheres, that appear experimental but powerful at the same time. Here we are with the second part of the Unreleased Archive by Octad. He is one of the owners of Metroline Recordings, and his parent label RetroMetro. For this second release on concrete, he gives us these tracks, definitely techno, with slight "minimal" influences, strong bass and clear sound, as cold as ice. Powerful on the dancefloor, but also mental and reflective, the Octad's groove leaves no way out, hits to the head and body up to stun. Enjoy.

Sweet harmonies in the foreground, and soft bass in the back, blended together to create an inner feeling of peace. An album that escapes every genre label , leaving an open door to discover the most secret and intimate sides of Thelicious. A relaxing voyage inside a very complex personality, that can express itself through live techno sets, but also in the production of amazingly sweet tracks, that are never trite, but powerful and filled with groove and substan.
The CDr is available in a limited edition of 100 copies, they comes in a black folder handmade by our stuff and tagged on the back cover with their own number.

Concrete Records closes its first circle of releases with a special guest: Dr. Nojoke. With his dark and strange sound full of glitches and hypnotics beat, in these four tracks Nojoke gives us an accurate perception of his world. He's been cultivating his music since 2005, when he started building his sound from his archive of self-made sounds and field recordings. He defines it as "a funky, deep, minimal, quirky, and experimental micro-cut-up-music" and calls it "Clikno". It is a clean and well kept sound, a true example of what most people define "minimal"- to us this term is very restrictive. Just listen this release to understand why.

We are proud to present our second release for the year 2012, a collaboration between two artists known as BaU and a remix by Joe Casagrande. "Tetraedhal Dust" is a very reflexive and dub sounds oriented ep, with minimal and just slightly suggested pads and harmonies. To this base are added tracks like Limen, that feature deep and persisting bass. In contrast with the energy of Limen, we find the quieter tones and the field recordings of Spielplatz, the release opening track.In every track we find an obsessively cared for sound, the groove is suggested for and emphasized by the constant mixing of glitch and harmonic sounds. To complete the circle, the great remix by Joe Casagrande, that presents a dub re-edition of the track Limen.

The Homework Festival is an electronic music festival now in its tenth edition. The concept and the constant presence in this latest edition is the X letter, not only numerically but also graphically: the intersection of two lines, the intersection of people, cultures, attitudes, ideas, styles. The Homework Festival will take place in Bologna (Italy) the 18 and 19 of May. As usual, there are many talented artist for the first time in italy in the line up, like: Blue Daisy, 123mrk, Sven Kacirek, Beat inc. and many more. Concrete Records will be in the line up with The Weak Ends ( the side project of Phooka, Mass-prod & Cris) on 18th May and with the live set of Phooka during the second day of the festival.
